University of Strathclyde

Student Wellbeing Lab

The lab aims to facilitate collaboration between researchers and practitioners to develop wellbeing support interventions for students, that are informed by research and designed for potential scalability across the broader student population.

About the Lab

The current aim of the Wellbeing strand within the Disability and Wellbeing Service at the University of Strathclyde is to transition towards a public health model, emphasising preventative and upstream interventions to support mental wellbeing.

We aim to guide the research profile across all university faculties toward a stronger emphasis on mental wellbeing. This will enable us to leverage the latest knowledge and technological advancements to address one of the most pressing challenges in the higher education sector.

If you are part of Strathclyde or interested in student wellbeing, we encourage you to contact us to discuss potential opportunities for involvement. We are enthusiastic about receiving research proposals from students and equally enthusiastic about seeing projects conducted by student researchers.
